As we approach the New Year, I am excited to share some great news. I decided to change my shop's name. Michelle Elizondo Designs will now become Kindly Lettered. Changing my shop's name is something I have been batteling with for the past year. I prayed. And prayed. And prayed. I actually struggled in finding a name that not only described me as a person but what I feel when I am creating my designs. Kindness and being kind are words that kept popping into my mind. Then, I brainstormed what I love the most about my designs and that is hand lettering. Teaching my self to hand letter is not easy. The difficult part of hand lettering is actually finding the time to practice. I purchased a book, bought sketchbooks and even some lettering pens. Again, the struggle now is to find the time. This one personal goal I have set for myself as I enter 2017. I hope and pray that my work bring you the joy I feel when I am creating and designing. Thank you for taking time to read this and I am wishing you a Blessed 2017 New Year!
